The Summerfield Summary is the official monthly newsletter sponsored by the Summerfield Civic Association Board of Directors.  The purpose of the newsletter is to provide information to the Summerfield community that is of interest to the residents of the community.  It is used to communicate news and information about the business of the Summerfield Civic Association and SCA approved Committees and Clubs.

The Summerfield Summary is compiled, produced and delivered by a volunteer staff comprised of an editor, a sports editor, a delivery manager, a calendar editor/creator and, as needed, a photographer.  In addition, the SCA Administrator, President of the Board, resident volunteer writers and reporters contribute articles of interest and information about the Community.  Committees contribute articles concerning the rules and regulations, as well as information pertaining to their field of interest.  Clubs contribute articles about their meetings, events, and about things of interest to the Community (e.g. Garden Tips from the Garden Club).  The Summerfield Summary is hand delivered door-to-door by a team of approximately 28 volunteers by the first of each month.
